Padra Crisafulli
Sound Design
Padra Crisafulli [they/them] is a storytelling artist in sound and directing. In theatre and opera, they have presented work at the Prague Quaddrennial (Ubu Roi @ The Common Design Project), the National Museum of Serbia (PETROV: A Mono-Opera), and online at the National Women’s Theatre Festival (Frozen Fluid: A Gender-Nonconforming Creation Myth). They have also assisted on productions in New York at The New Group (Happy Talk) and the Bushwick-Starr (Suicide Forest). Presently, they are developing a folk/ambient song cycle as a Haeth Grant recipient through Possum Creek Games, and creating plunderphonics music to explore lineages in sound (see: procrastinate). BFA in Directing at Carnegie Mellon, 1st Year MFA candidate in Sound Design at UC San Diego under Bobby McElver.
