Annie Nguyen
Dramaturg
Annie Nguyen (any pronouns) is a Vietnamese dramaturg, playwright, critic, and sound designer currently attending Carnegie Mellon School of Drama for interdisciplinary theatre-making. She is an alumnus of the BIPOC Critics Lab at the Kennedy Center and fellow of the Cody Renard Richard Scholarship Program.
From Houston, Texas, her credits with Carnegie Theatre Company (dir. Steward Savage) include The Pillowman, The Mountaintop, Things I Know to be True, Faust, Red, and Describe the Night. Her dramaturgy is informed by her design background, her design instincts are dramaturgical, and presently she returns to New York City for her second SheNYC project with director Samantha Toy Ozeas.
